Onsite Breakdown Service

Mechanical Engineering Services is available for all on site breakdowns from 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Saturday. We can also provide services beyond these hours upon request.

Mech. Eng. Services prides itself on prompt call out times, and the ability to get our customers back up and running quickly.

We also understand that breakdowns to machinery often require additional supply of parts and services, Mech. Eng. Sevices can assist with the sourcing of replacement parts and also provide machining and fabrication services.

Preventative Maintenance

Mechanical Engineering Services understands the importance of reducing downtime on the production floor, and ensuring that your machinery operates hassle free. We can create fully customized FTM (Fixed Term Maintenance) or CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) programs to suit any sized operation.

With each preventative maintenance program we conduct a full site inspection of your plant and machinery to create your maintenance program. Your program will be designed to suit the requirements of your machinery and budget.

You will also be able to access all machinery logbooks, ongoing jobs, and future maintenance jobs online. This will contain previous repair information, service intervals and key component information to

reduce downtime in the future.

Power Transmission

Mechanical Engineering Services specializes in the repair, modification, and upgrading of all power transmission assemblies. Our services cover industrial motors & gearboxes, couplings, bearings, belts & pulleys, chains & sprockets, gearing and machine timing assemblies.

Machining, Welding and Fabrication

Mechanical Engineering Services offers a range of machining, welding and fabrication services. General machining of turned and milled components, as well as TIG, MIG and arc welding. We also provide welding and fabrication services onsite, from our fully equipped site vehicles.

Shut Down Services

Mechanical Engineering Services can provide labour for your existing shutdown, or facilitate a shut down for your business.
We will assess your machinery, and create a shutdown program, covering everything from general machine inspections to complete overhauls.

Electrical Disconnect / Reconnect

The need to call an electrician to disconnect a motor, or an electrical component during a replacement adds additional costs, and adds considerably more time to a job. Mechanical Engineering Services employees carry a B-Class Electrical license which enables us to get you back up and running faster and more affordably than the competition.
